TAMPA, Fla.--Feb. 18, 2004-- The National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) announced today that the previously sold-out Adobe ACE Boot Camp, a new workshop for creative professionals interested in certification from Adobe Systems, is being expanded and the venue size doubled. The Boot Camp, an exclusive session at the PhotoshopWorld Conference & Expo, prepares attendees for the Adobe ACE (Adobe Certified Expert) exam and has become one of the conference's most sought-after events.
The Adobe ACE Boot Camp is a half-day workshop that will be led by both PhotoshopWorld instructors and Adobe trainers. It provides attendees with four hours of focused curriculum, including, Photoshop training and review, Adobe's practice exam, a Q&A session, and a voucher good for 25% off the ACE exam price.
PhotoshopWorld Conference Technical Chair Scott Kelby admitted being taken by surprise by the Boot Camp's immediate popularity. "We've received overwhelming interest in the Adobe ACE Boot Camp from the Photoshop community, selling out the event much quicker than anticipated," he said. "Apparently we've tapped into a need that hasn't been met previously."
NAPP's Chief Operating Officer David Moser stated, "This is an indicator of just how competitive the creative industry is becoming. Professionals are looking for that extra edge, and they want the 'Adobe Certified Expert' designation to validate their place in the industry's upper echelon."
The Adobe ACE Boot Camp will be held Sunday, February 29 during the pre-conference portion of the PhotoshopWorld Conference & Expo, a three-day training event sponsored by Adobe Systems Tickets are being sold for $99 each and are available only to PhotoshopWorld attendees.
