CVISION Technologies (http://www.cvisiontech.com), a leading provider of software to optimize document capture, announced today the release of PdfOptimizer for InputAccel 6.5, a solution designed to create the most efficient image documents possible with EMC Captiva InputAccel workflows.
PdfOptimizer for InputAccel integrates with EMC Captiva’s InputAccel and creates optimal image files through the combination of superior OCR and file compression technologies. PdfOptimizer saves money by generating documents that are dramatically more efficient to store, access, and transmit, while also delivering extremely accurate OCR. The compression software reduces the size of scanned files 5-100X and converts them into condensed, 100% standard, PDF files.
The OCR in PdfOptimizer provides highly accurate recognition results and includes advanced capabilities in four OCR modes. Each mode offers varying degrees of accuracy and speed that administrators can customize to fit their users’ needs. Users have even more control with PdfOptimizer thanks to its increased PDF functionality and its ability to use advanced image processing techniques such as image cleaning and smoothing.
Steve Talmud, Sales VP at CVISION Technologies, said, “We are proud to continue our relationship with EMC Captiva through our optimization module for InputAccel. PdfOptimizer for InputAccel enables IA users to generate the most efficient documents possible with dramatic file compression, superior OCR, and advanced PDF control, all within their existing IA workflow.
