Enfocus is working with HP to extensively automate and streamline the digital print production process for HP Indigo users. Using Enfocus Switch, Smart Automation will be integrated into the HP Indigo SmartStream Designer application and HP SmartStream Production Pro Print Server. In addition, HP Indigo users will be able to rely on Enfocus' acclaimed PitStop product line for Smart PDF Preflight and correction.

Fast turnaround times, end-to-end automation, streamlined digital print production, reduced manual intervention and more print jobs in less time are the main benefits delivered by integrating Enfocus Switch with HP SmartStream Designer and HP SmartStream Production Pro Print Server.

Getting smart with automation and integration
The Smart Automation provided by Enfocus' solutions brings a raft of new functionalities to HP Indigo customers, allowing them to simplify and improve production:

• Automatic sorting and collating of separate jobs and batching into a single print job.
• Cross platform automation of Variable Data Print jobs and Imposition jobs through integration with the HP SmartStream Designer for Adobe InDesign in both Mac and Windows versions.
• Automatic setup of job parameters such as the number of print copies, print priority, stacker destination and separation mode.
• Creation and insertion of customized banner sheets at the beginning of jobs to assist in finishing, tracking and fulfillment.
• Automated preflight and correction of PDF files prior to print submission.
• Automated file manipulation through Enfocus Crossroads Partner application integration.

Enfocus Crossroads makes automation challenges a thing of the past
Enfocus Crossroads is a community related to Enfocus Switch automation. Comprising Crossroads Application Partners, Crossroads Integration Partners and Switch users, the community provides automation best practices to other Switch users and prospects. Crossroads Application Partners, now also including HP, have completely integrated their respective applications with Switch, offering a centralized, automated and controlled environment to streamline pre-production through cross-media and print output.
