Lecta will be present at Drupa 2012, the leading international trade show for the print and media industry, in Düsseldorf from 3rd to 6th May.
In this edition, Lecta reasserts the rights of paper and the value of print media with its campaign “Paper Rights” (www.paperrights.com). Paper is more than just a means of communication: it evokes emotions, memories and feelings that may long have been forgotten. Its very essence - its sustainability and its role in contributing to society, culture and the environment – is reflected in “Paper Rights”, a powerful visual campaign with a clear message: to restore paper to its unique and natural position in the media mix.
Lecta is one of the largest manufacturers of coated woodfree paper and one of the leaders in the specialty papers market in Europe. Three companies with a long tradition in their home markets form the Group: Cartiere del Garda in Italy, Condat in France and Torraspapel in Spain. All Lecta’s mills are certified according to ISO 14001 and EMAS management systems as well as to PEFC and FSC Chain of Custody standards.
Coated woodfree papers
At Drupa, Cartiere del Garda will present its new sample book and “Simplexity”, the latest edition from its "A better project" series. “A better project” is a collection of concept books, each offering a unique view of contemporary life, designed to convey the emotional and multi-sensorial experience which only printed paper can offer. Furthermore, visitors will be able to experience first-hand the quality of Garda’s printed samples included in “The Excellent Collection”.
Condat is preparing a surprise for Drupa attendees. Visitors to the Lecta stand will discover a world where each creative project printed on Condat paper become a work of art. “Made for incredible stories, extraordinary images and glamorous ideas” is Condat’s new advertising concept. An exhibit of original objects made from paper, as well as an exceptional swatchbook collection and printed books, designed to demonstrate that coated papers are made for Art and Art is made for coated papers.
Coated papers that can enhance the beauty of images and the clarity of the texts? At Drupa, Torraspapel will show visitors how this is possible and enable them to experience one-of-a-kind moments just with the help of printed samples and visual communication. A special edition of its well-known Creator Swatchbook, where striking images and samples share the same space, has been created for the event.
