Press release from the issuing company
SSE 3.4 functionality broadens its scope of indexing options, increases user productivity, and expands system security. SSE 3.4 adds support for PDF Extensible Metadata Platform (XMP) metadata for specifying indexing information. This functionality provides users with expanded control over what information is indexed and leveraged when executing search operations. In addition, new font filtering functionality has been added that enables users to identify and qualify specific index information based on font attributes. This new font filter functionality provides users with an expanded method to ensure only intended information is indexed.
SSE 3.4 system security includes the Private Key Generation Interval option. This functionality enables system administrators to determine how long URLs generated for served documents are valid, which further reinforces SSE's robust security capabilities to prevent unauthorized users access to the system.
The Report Visibility feature in SSE 3.4 allows operators to identify and flag documents that are to remain in an archive, but not to be returned in search results or presented to end users. Some industries have the requirement to retain older document versions for historical purposes while only exposing end users to the most recent document versions.
"SSE provides organizations with a flexible solution for electronic delivery and secure archiving of internal reports and customer facing documents," said Mary Ann Rowan, CMO & Vice President of Sales. "With the latest version of SOLsearcher Enterprise, we are proud to continue the tradition of solving complex business problems related to our customers' requirements for electronic document presentment."
SSE 3.4 is a powerful, ecoActive solution that enables organizations to securely distribute and manage high value documents electronically via the web in an environmentally-friendly manner.
