Press release from the issuing company
CHILI Publish was established in 2010 by three entrepreneurs with a passion for the Publishing world. Its main activity is the development of its powerful web-based CHILI Publisher software and the sales of the software through a value added partner channel or directly. CHILI Publish also provides instruction and training.
CHILI Publisher online document editor is CHILI Publish’s flagship product. Other than desktop applications, CHILI Publisher is made to be integrated in to web-applications.
Once integrated, it allows end-users to use the tools online, previously only available in traditional desktop publishing applications. And since the tools are used in a browser, the user interface can be adjusted depending on the needs and expertise of the end-user.
The licensing model is simple. Graphic service providers buy a license, and are then able to offer services to their customers. A yearly maintenance fee covers updates and support.
Typical CHILI Publish customers are printers, print service providers, design- and ad-agencies and software integrators.
The software is created from the ground up, in house.
CHILI Publishers main parts are: CHILI API, CHILI Backoffice, CHILI Editor.
CHILI Editor is a wysiwyg editor, ready to be used out of the box. Its user interface is 100% customizable, depending on the needs of the service providers and their end-users. Adobe® InDesign® documents can be converted to CHILI documents, and back, using the CHILI InDesign® converter.
CHILI Backoffice allows administrators to organize assets, documents, fonts and much more.
CHILI API is the heart of the application. It allows other software to speak to CHILI Publisher. CHILI Editor and CHILI Backoffice use the same API available to customers. This solid basis results in consistent behaviour between CHILI Publisher and external applications.
