Press release from the issuing company
Kodak and Graphic Innovators Inc. are partnering to provide customers with new opportunities to expand their offerings using hybrid inkjet printing. The agreement establishes Graphic Innovators as an Authorized Sales Agent of KODAK PROSPER S-Series Imprinting Systems to customers in the Americas region.
Graphic Innovators is a global industry leader in the sale of new, remanufactured, and used web offset presses and auxiliary equipment for publishing, packaging, and commercial printing. In addition to Graphic Innovators current services, the Illinois-based firm now will be sales agent for KODAK PROSPER S-Series Systems to its customers and have the capability to integrate the systems into a customer’s environment.
Based on innovative KODAK Stream Inkjet Technology, the KODAK PROSPER Imprinting Systems deliver hybrid solutions, enabling print service providers to produce offset class output in terms of quality, productivity, and cost for their clients. Offering the highest quality in the hybrid digital printing product line with speeds matching those of a web offset press, KODAK PROSPER S-Series Systems allow customers to capitalize on new imprinting business opportunities.
“The beauty of the PROSPER S-Series System is that it’s a scalable solution that allows printers with offset equipment to enter the digital arena,” said Paul Minasian, Vice President/General Manager, Graphic Innovators Inc. “Our vast integration experience will help our customers create new markets and profit centers for their businesses. We view this as a ‘win-win-win’ for our customers, for Kodak, and for Graphic Innovators.”
“We’re excited to have Graphic Innovators as a Authorized Sales Agent to help expand our reach in hybrid print applications,” said Jerry Miller, Kodak’s Americas Regional General Manager, Digital Printing Solutions. “The PROSPER S-Series is ideal for inkjet addressing, customized coupons, geo-coding, and personalized travel offers. Plus, hybrid printing enables fewer manufacturing steps and reduces labor, handling, storage, and waste.”
