MarquipWardUnited, a leading manufacturer of advanced sheeting, corrugating and finishing equipment, has announced the addition of Peter Nicholson to its European Sheeter sales force. Nicholson joins the company as the sales executive for new and aftermarket sheeting machinery for the UK, Scandinavia / Finland, Russia, the Middle East, and Central / South Africa.

Nicholson brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and sales management leadership from within the paper and board industry, having spent most of this time employed by Beloit Corporation, based out of the UK.

“Peter brings a wealth of paper mill experience to our group which will help immensely as our mill-based products evolve,” said Steve Brimble, Managing Director of Apollo Sheeters Ltd. and VP Sales-Europe and Asia.

Most recently, Nicholson had been in general management and was the Group Engineering Manager for DRB Group Ltd. based near Chester, UK.  He has sold and been involved in significant capital projects throughout the UK, continental Europe and Scandinavia / Finland. In these regions, Nicholson was instrumental in establishing sales agencies and distribution networks. Nicholson plans to lend that same expertise to MarquipWardUnited, helping the company increase its global footprint in other rapidly growing markets, such as Russia and the Middle East.

Nicholson will work from his office near Manchester, UK.
