HANOVER PARK, Ill., February 2004 – Fujifilm Electronic Imaging (FFEI) was recently honored with two awards from the UK’s top business magazine, Management Today. FFEI manufactures much of Fujifilm’s prepress equipment, including the Sumo imagesetter, the Ninja and Saber family of platesetters and the Celebrant software, for the United States and other part of the world. FFEI was awarded the “Most Improved Manufacturing Plant” category and was also runner up in the “Best Factory Award” category, demonstrating that is possesses a healthy manufacturing business with clear controls and an excellent management team. “FFEI is extremely pleased to accept this year’s award from Management Today,” says Andy Cook, managing director of FFEI. “Our ability to combine patented technology with an efficient manufacturing facility ensures that we continue to offer low-cost economies to our suppliers, providing them with a win-win situation.” In addition to winning awards in the United Kingdom, FFEI’s efforts have also garnered accolades here in the United States.
