Kala will be showing its very latest product developments at FESPA Digital 2012 in Hall 3, stand K18.  The event takes place in Barcelona between 21st and 24th February 2012 and Kala products on display will include the recently announced ‘Starter’ cold laminator and a brand new professional hot and cold laminator, named the Atlantic 1650.

Kala’s ‘Starter’ entry level cold laminator was introduced to the market in September 2011 and feedback to date - from customers across the globe - has been very positive.  Laurent Bouchard, managing director of Kala, comments, “The Starter has a very appropriate name. Not only is it an entry level machine, but it is also the “start” of what Kala hopes is a new trend: a competitively priced quality machine fully designed and manufactured in Europe.”

Kala’s Starter laminator meets all the latest health & safety and electrical regulations.  It provides simultaneous single sided lamination and adhesive mounting onto substrates up to 50mm thick.  They are available in 108cm, 140cm and 160cm widths and all models are capable of handling rolls up to 100m in length.

Laurent Bouchard continues, “The user-friendly Starter laminator is ideal for any sign and display business.  It is incredibly simple to use and, as such, reduces wastage of printed material caused by handling errors.” 

Kala will also be highlighting its new Atlantic 1650 hot and cold laminator at the show.  The Atlantic 1650 laminator has been developed to meet all the indoor and outdoor lamination needs of print service providers.  Reliability and consistency are at the core of this laminator which has been designed with higher productivity in mind.
