Additional Instructors Joining acadami Team in 2012

Press release from the issuing company

acadami, the leading supplier of examined professional training in the transaction document space, announced today that it has added two new instructors for its Transaction Document Specialist School for 2012. The two new instructors, Wendy MacMillan edp and Kevin Lantaff edp, are joining the acadami team to cover schools in Canada and the US. MacMillan and Lantaff join Neil Merchant edp and Roberta McKee-Jackson edp, who themselves joined the acadami team last year in the United Kingdom and delivered multiple courses and schools.

Transaction Document Specialist School

The Transaction Document Specialist School from acadami is an intensive five-day training program consisting of three in-class courses and three online webinars that cover the breadth and width of the transaction document production process.
All acadami instructors have received their edp designation from Xplor International, the world-wide trade association for electronic printing. In addition to two of the co-founders of acadami – Bill Broddy and William J. ‘Bill’ McCalpin – having the m-edp designation (Master Electronic Document Professional), acadami now has four more instructors who share a great deal of experience in the industry:

  • Roberta McKee-Jackson – 1994 (year edp received)
  • Neil Merchant – 1999
  • Wendy MacMillan – 2003
  • Kevin Lantaff – 2011

Students who attend the School and pass the three exams during the week earn the acadami Transaction Document Specialist certificate. “With the Transaction Document Specialist School option, industry personnel can gain a broad knowledge of terms, processes, and best practices of the transaction document production workflow in just one week – topped off by a certificate that is available only to School graduates,” said William J. ‘Bill’ McCalpin, acadami registrar and co-founder. “While acadami’s co-founders have taught the School in the US, Canada, and the UK, we have found that having localized instructors is really appreciated by the students. Indeed, in the latest school in the UK, Merchant and McKee-Jackson both received 5.0 out of 5.0 on their evaluations by the attendees.”
