Genius 52UV shines with another premiere

Press release from the issuing company

For a long time now, the company Syung Ji Information Technology, based in Seoul, Korea, has been following the numerous success stories and customer reports about the Genius 52UV. Of course, the benefits of this printing press were clear to the specialist in the fast-growing customer card market, yet it could not entirely believe the reports and therefore wanted to see the press for itself. The customer thus set off on the long journey to Germany. It was definitely worth it!

After complete job changes in only 7 minutes and start-up waste of just 10 sheets, the decision was made. What had until then only been read about in theory turned out to be true in reality, too. Syung Ji found the presentation so convincing that it made an immediate decision to buy.
As of now, the very first Genius 52 UV ever to be delivered to Korea is producing personalised plastic cards and lottery cards at Syung Ji, as well as cards used in the gift and customer loyalty market. “Our key is being able to provide customers with a large product range for all their card needs, which allows them to find what they are looking for,” explains Mr Sang-Uk Jung, responsible for printing and production at Syung Ji Information Technology. “We work very closely with our customers and give them ideas on how they can produce their cards.”

Faster than the competition

“The Genius 52UV allows us to print on a bigger selection of substrates. For example on lenticular film, which we were previously not able to print. The press makes it possible for us to give the cards a matt or gloss finish, a 3D look or spot coating. It is a great enhancement to our business because it adds performance, efficiency and higher quality to our digital printing capacities. The benefits are clear: quick job changes and little start-up waste right through to the perfect colour signature and very good image reproduction on PVC – and all with a high throughput per hour. The Genius 52UV will take us to the next level,” says Sang-Uk Jung happily.
