Press release from the issuing company
The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) has made available Ponzimonium: How Scam Artists are Ripping Off America at the agency's retail and online bookstore. Published by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Ponzimonium tells the story of Ponzi scheme cases and educates readers on how to identify and avoid becoming entangled in an investment fraud. The arrest of Ponzi scheme operator Bernard Madoff in 2008 raised the issue to national attention and led to an increase in Ponzi scheme investigations by the CFTC. Ponzimonium focuses on Ponzi scheme cases from 2009 and identifies ways the public can recognize a Ponzi scheme.
GPO's bookstore is located at: 710 North Capitol Street, NW in Washington, D.C.
