Quark announced today the availability of Quark Web-to-Print SystemTM 9.1, the Web-to-print solution that allows advertisers, marketers, and print service providers to create brand-compliant marketing material from design templates that are accessed through a web browser. With the 9.1 update, Quark Web-to-Print System is now available for French and German language regions. It also now offers users the time-saving design automation features introduced with QuarkXPress® 9.1.

With QuarkXPress, Quark Web-to-Print System allows designers to create sophisticated marketing material that can be shared with sales and field staff. The dispersed staff is able to customize the material based on their location, specific offers, contact information, and other fields as determined by the designer. The template designer is able to restrict fields and limit font and color choices to give flexibility to marketing and sales staff, but also to protect the company’s brand.

More Design Functionality with 9.1
With Quark Web-to-Print System 9.1, designers can now take advantage of new features in QuarkXPress that help automate the creation of often-used design elements, therefore eliminating many manual and time-consuming tasks. The new features include:

Bullets, Numbers, and Outlines: Designers can create dynamic ordered and un-ordered lists.
Tables Spanning across Multiple Pages: Tables can now be designed to automatically divide over multiple pages while repeating header and footer rows if necessary.
Callouts: Boxes and groups, such as images and sidebars, will move automatically with a designated portion of text to keep relevant content together even while new content is being added.
Conditional Styles: Allows designers to apply multiple style attributes to text, which saves time and rework, especially in cases where design elements are used consistently throughout a project.
