Pacific Printing Industries Association (PPI) announced the winners of the fourth annual Print ROCKS! Awards at the Tulalip Resort Casino, WA. The awards celebrate printing excellence in the Pacific Northwest (including Alaska and Hawaii) and acknowledge the outstanding work by talented and dedicated individuals within PPI’s six state region.
B&B Print Source in Tigard, OR took the top honor with a Best of Show trophy for their Resort at Paws Up brochure (Stochastically printed), as well as one Best of Division (based on number of employees) award and five Best of Category awards. Other top division winners included: Vince’s Die Cutting (Portland, OR), Adpro Litho (Mukilteo, WA) and ColorGraphics (Seattle, WA).
All winners will be entered into the 2012 Printing Industries of America’s international Premier Print Awards competition, the largest and most prestigious print competition in the world.
Over 240 entries were assessed by three judges who were very impressed with the outstanding work that was submitted. Jules Van Sant, PPI Executive Director, agrees: “Once again we have shown that Print ROCKS! and is alive and well in the West. We are pleased to have received such amazing print submissions, in both traditional and digital categories, small and large format and everything in between, from a wide variety of companies. Everyone that participated should be very proud of their achievement and the excellent work done by their employees. They truly are part of the evolution of print”.
The PrintROCKS! Award recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of print communications in the region. The competition rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media. A showcase of top winners can be viewed on the PrintROCKS! website: www.ppiprintrocks.org.
