On-Demand Book Category Added to Mohawk Show

Press release from the issuing company

Mohawk Fine Papers has added a new category to Mohawk Show 12: On-demand books. As with the other categories in this design competition, these book entries will be judged on the basis of higher thinking in graphic design, excellence in print production, and appropriate paper choice.

"The ability to print just one beautiful book is finally easy," according to Mike Madura, Vice President, Digital Media at Mohawk. "Quality digital printing is more readily available and digital paper choices are much more extensive. Printing just one book or a small quantity of books no longer means a high price tag, a million headaches, or inferior results."

You can print your on-demand book entry at any digital printer including online photo book sites like Blurb, where they make it easy to design, publish, market and sell professional-quality books. Blurb's new on-demand ProLine books feature Mohawk Superfine and Mohawk proPhoto papers. Explore this easy and high-quality publishing solution at Blurb.com/ProLine.

Your entry can even be a one-off since you only need to send one copy to be judged. To download the entry form, go to www.mohawkpaper.com/entryform and enter the show celebrating the best design printed on Mohawk paper. This year's new on-demand book category winner will receive a cash prize of $2,500 and exposure through publicity, a traveling exhibit and a printed catalog.

The deadline to enter is May 31st, 2012.
