GALA 2012 Young Entrepreneur Award Recipient Named

Emmanuel Rojas Bola-os will be awarded alongside other GALA 2012 honorees at March 1st reception
    
Orlando, Fla. – The Printing Association of Florida (PAF), producer of the annual Graphics of the Americas tradeshow and conference; is pleased to announce that Emmanuel Rojas Bola-os - Chief Executive Officer at Conlith S.A., Heredia, Costa Rica - has been named the recipient of the coveted 2012 Graphic Arts Leaders of the Americas (GALA) Young Entrepreneur Award.

Established in 2009, the Young Entrepreneur Award recognizes a particularly exceptional individual in the next generation of Latin America's business leaders who has made significant efforts to further the graphic communications industry. The award recognizes the efforts of a young professional who sets an example for his or her peers, as well as addresses and manages the marketing and technology challenges in today's competitive marketplace.
 
Rojas Bola-os will be honored along with the two 2012 GALA honorees, Susan Kinney, president of The Castle Press, Pasadena, CA (North America); and Gabriel Comelli Berruti, owner/director of Impresora Policolor, Montevideo, Uruguay (Latin America). The presentation will be held before an international audience of graphic communications industry leaders and guests in Miami, Fla., at the annual GALA Awards reception and banquet held March 1, 2012 at the Treetop Ballroom at Jungle Island.
Emmanuel Rojas Bola-os - 2012 GALA Young Entrepreneur Award Recipient

The recipient of this year's prestigious GALA Young Entrepreneur Award, Rojas Bola-os has been CEO at Conlith since 1992. The company is renowned as a modern, full-service plant that has taken strides to combine traditional and digital printing, as well as offer customers design and reproduction services.

Rojas Bola-os held other positions at Conlith, and previously worked at Imprenta Impresora Ltda, Imprenta Instituto Tecnico Don Bosco, and the Printing Association of Costa Rica, where he was president from 1998-2002. Rojas Bola-os is the founder of the FECACIGRAF Federacion Centro Americana y del Caribe, and is involved in numerous CONLATINGRAF activities. He also supported the creation of the Panamanian Printing Association ADIGRAF.
 
Rojas Bola-os was born in San Jose, Costa Rica, and attended the Colegio Marista in Costa Rica. He holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Costa Rica, and a Master of Business Administration from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.
