Companies Recognized at Annual NAPL/NAQP Awards Luncheon;
Cleveland's Porath Print Source Takes Top Honors as "Best of Show"
 
East Rutherford, N.J. – NAPL/NAQP presented 2011 PrintImage Excellence Awards to 15 U.S. printers from across the nation at the association's annual Awards Luncheon on September 9th  in Chicago. Top honors went to Porath Print Source of Cleveland, Ohio, whose entry, Karpinksi Puzzle, was judged "Best of Show." The Awards Luncheon, sponsored by Kodak, was a featured event during the 2011 Owners Conference, September 8-10th, at Chicago's Doubletree Hotel.
           
PrintImage Excellence Awards were presented to quick and small commercial printers for industry excellence in 17 categories, ranging from one-color offset printing to binding and finishing, in-house design, wide format, high-production digital printing, and cross-media campaigns. (See attached for a complete list of winners.)  More than 100 entries were received in this year's competition.
 
"These awards showcase the high level of craftsmanship and industry knowledge among quick and small commercial printers," said NAPL President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph P. Truncale, Ph.D. "They reflect their abilities not only in a wide range of printing processes, but also in new disciplines such as marketing and mixed media campaigns. We are very proud to be honoring the members of this talented and dedicated group with 2011 PrintImage Excellence Awards."

"We are really excited and gratified that the judges honored our work with the Best of Show Award."
 
2011 PrintImage Excellence Award winners will be featured in NAPL/NAQP publications as well as in a special section in the October issue of Quick Printing magazine.
