Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, – The Web Offset Association (WOA), a special interest group of Printing Industries of America, is now accepting entries for the 2011-2012 WOA Print Awards. These awards have 38 categories, from coldset printing on newsprint to coated product catalogs, so any web or offset printer can enter the category of their expertise.
The WOA Print Awards provide a stage for printers to have their work displayed and, in turn, boost business and impress clients. By entering this low-cost competition, WOA Print Award recipients will receive international recognition as top-notch printers. First place winners receive a complimentary registration for the 2012 Offset & Beyond Conference with one free night's accommodations.
Mark Winans, president/Gannett Offset-Springfield and vice president/Gannett Offset Print Group and a WOA Print Awards winner, says, "Winning such a prestigious award in such a competitive environment instills a sense of achievement and confidence. It sets a benchmark and provides motivation to achieve even greater successes."
Entry fees are $25 ($100 outside of the U.S. and free for students), and any piece printed in the year 2011 can be entered. The deadline for entries is January 31, 2012.
