Printers are investing in Print MIS software and digital automation to deliver long term efficiency gains
TORONTO, – Avanti Computer Systems Limited, a leading provider of Print MIS and Web-to-Print solutions, today announced fourth quarter revenues up 32% over the previous year and year-over-year growth of 23%.
Much of Avanti's growth is attributed to printers investing in digital workflow automation, in order to improve operational efficiency. Avanti's ability to deliver touchless workflows through web-to-print-to-finish automation, is more compelling than ever before. Print providers running Avanti can operate much more efficiently than in the past, freeing up the time and resources that were spent on non-value added tasks (such as manual data entry into multiple standalone systems) and refocusing them on customer service and generating more revenue.
"We are excited to welcome close to 40 new customers to our customer base this year," says Patrick Bolan, President and CEO of Avanti. "Print shop owners are investing in automation and realizing the payoffs– enhanced operational efficiency, more productive staff and increased profit margins on each job, all of which significantly enhance the bottom line."
Avanti enjoyed a strong end to its 2011 fiscal year (August 31st is Avanti's year end) with the addition of T.Rowe Price, University of Waterloo, North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, Clarke County School District and Herff Jones, amongst others. The company's implementation team has had one of its busiest quarters this year, taking many customers live; at Printfacility in Jersey City, NJ, Capital Printing and Forms in Edmonton, AB, Runbeck in Tempe, AZ, and AFL/CIO in Washington, DC to name a few.
Bolan adds, "These new customers are already realizing the benefits of automation: the ability to do more, much faster and with less resources."
"With Avanti, we will be able to streamline production as well as job tracking processes to enable us to know where a given job is at any time," says Terry Sutter, CEO of Runbeck Election Services, a commercial print shop in Tempe, Arizona.
Avanti is continuing to invest in product development. Avanti's primary focus in the next few quarters remains on digital print workflow automation, 3rd party software application integrations and continuing to grow its API (Application Program Interface) library of services.
Avanti will be demonstrating a new integration with Ultimate Technographics enabling printers to achieve web-to-print-to-finish capabilities. In addition, the company will be launching two new services including 'CRM Automated Lead Management' and 'Automated Proof Tracking' at Booth #861 at Graph Expo this year.
