Santa Ana, CA – Duplo USA Corporation will be at booth #2617 showcasing its latest print finishing solutions for both the digital and offset markets. Having successfully developed a range of on-demand products for short-run work, Duplo's key products at this year's show focus on the needs of the high production printer with the new DBMi Saddle System and the DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser. Also taking center stage will be the heavy-duty suction collator, the DSC-10/20, and the new Ultra 200A UV Coater, featuring its capabilities to coat both sides of a document with a smear-free finish.
 
Other products not to be missed are the Foldmaster Touchline CF375 high-speed creaser and folder and a technology showcase for a new on-demand die cut system. Visitors to the booth will also see the System 5000 Collating & Bookletmaking System, the DFS-3500 Full-Bleed Bookletmaking System, the DSF-5000 and DSF-2000 Sheet Feeders along with the CC-228 Card Cutter and Duplo's popular slitter/cutter/creaser line, which include the DC-645 and DC-615 Pro, the DC-645 Integrated Folding System, and the DC-445 Creaser.
 
DBMi Saddle System: Precision Bookletmaking On Demand
Duplo will be debuting for the first time in the U.S. the DBMi Saddle System, the new heavy-duty, high volume collating and saddle stitch bookletmaking system designed for both offset and digital work. Producing up to 4,500 booklets per hour with superior flatness, the rugged DBMi incorporates the DBM-S Saddle Stitcher with up to six DSC-10/60i Collators and can process short-runs just as efficiently as longer runs to maximize profits. The entire system is operated from one convenient location using the Windows-based PC Controller software.
 
The DBM-S Saddle Stitcher rapidly transitions from CD-size booklets to letter landscape and up to 14" x 12" books without any manual adjustments required. The optional DKT-200 Two-Knife Trimmer and gutter cutter can be added to produce full-bleed finished books in-line as well as 2-up applications, further increasing the output to 9,000 books per hour. Optional three or four-stitcher head kits are also available.
 
The DSC-10/60i Collator offers an optional bin extension kit for feeding up to 14" x 24" sheets and an optional intelligent feed function (IMBF) for custom feed applications. Modular in design, the DBMi Saddle System is the next level up in heavy-duty, high volume quality bookletmaking from Duplo.

DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser: The Ultimate All-in-One Digital Color Finisher
Duplo will be showcasing its most powerful, all-in-one digital color finisher, the DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser. Performing up to 10 slits, 25 cuts, and 20 creases in a single pass, this high production finisher eliminates white borders and toner cracking on digital color documents up to 50 sheets per minute.
 
Taking the success of the DC-645 model to the next level, the DC-745 features a higher feed capacity for minimal reloading, user-friendly PC Controller for easy job setups, an elevator stacker and waste chopper along with new optional scoring, slitting, and perforating modules for increased versatility. Printers can go beyond basic finishing and create a wider range of full-bleed, digitally-printed applications such as business cards, greeting cards, direct mailers, postcards, perforated tickets and coupons, and much more in a single pass!
 
Ultra 200A UV Coater: Smear-Free Finishing on Both Sides
Also debuting at Graph Expo is the Ultra 200A UV Coater. Capable of coating both sides of the document with a smear-free finish, the Ultra 200A enhances the value and vibrancy of printed pieces in an instant. This fully automated UV coater adds value to any document by applying a high quality gloss or satin finish to a range of offset and digital prints, providing protection from scratches and scuffing.  
 
The Ultra 200A provides users the ability to coat both sides of the sheet without any additional adjustments required. The applicator and impression rollers engage only at the start and end of the sheet, ensuring a smear-free process and clean finish on both sides. The entire machine is activated with the touch of a button through its Intelligent Control System and also features a power saving mode to reduce its energy consumption when not in use. The Ultra 200A also comes with a standard high capacity feeder, the SF-200 Suction Feeder, for feeding long runs up to 66 feet per minute and sheets up to 20" in width. DSC-10/20 Collator: Affordable, Heavy-Duty Suction Collating
The DSC-10/20 Collator is Duplo's affordable and heavy-duty suction collating solution designed for both offset and digitally-printed applications. Utilizing Duplo's own patented feed system, this 10-bin collator handles a wide range of paper, from bond to coated stock, and can feed up to 7,200 sets per hour. Each bin comes equipped with two adjustable fans for accurate feeding while ensuring coated, curled, and even high static digital prints are fed consistently. A variety of different sizes can be fed from 13" x 18.11" to CD-size applications.
 
Compact in size and loaded with several productivity-enhancing features, the DSC-10/20 Collator offers the ideal combination of performance and price unmatched in the industry. Showing in-line with the DBM-350 Bookletmaker, the DSC-10/20 can also be configured with the DBM-500 and DBM-120 Bookletmakers, and up to two towers can be connected.
 
Bookletmaking Solutions for High-End to Entry-Level Productions
Duplo's range of bookletmaking solutions will be showcased with the System 5000 Collating & Bookletmaking and DFS-3500 Full-Bleed Bookletmaking Systems. The System 5000 incorporates the DBM-500 Bookletmaker with up to six DC-10/60 Collators, producing up to 5,000 books per hour. The DFS-3500 provides an affordable solution for finishing full-bleed booklets in a single pass as it integrates the stitching, folding, and trimming capabilities of the mid-range DBM-350 Bookletmaker with the slitting and creasing functionalities of the DC-445 Creaser.
 
Visitors to the booth will also see the high-speed DSF-5000 Sheet Feeder in-line with the DBM-500 Bookletmaker. Designed for customers with high production demands, the DSF-5000 feeds pre-collated digital and offset documents at speeds up to 400 sheets per minute. The DSF-2000 Sheet Feeder, which feeds up to 200 sheets per minute, will also be on display configured with the DBM-120 Bookletmaker, displaying an ideal solution for lower volume printers.
 
Slit/Cut/Crease Solutions: All-in-One Finishing for Mid to Short-Run Jobs
Demonstrating Duplo's popular all-in-one finishing line will be the DC-645 and DC-615 Pro Slitter/Cutter/Creasers, and the DC-645 Integrated Folding System. The fully automated DC-645 and DC-615 Pro can process up to 6 slits, 15 cuts, and 10 creases in one pass. These digital color finishers eliminate white borders and unattractive fold lines without the difficult adjustments and time-consuming changeovers. Jobs can quickly be set up through the user-friendly control panel or via the PC-based Job Creator software.
 
The DC-645 Integrated Folding System extends the capability of the DC-645 even further by incorporating an in-line knife folder and enabling users to slit, cut, crease, and fold digitally-printed documents in a single pass. Utilizing two knife folds, the DC-645 Integrated Folding System processes five of the most common fold types – including single, letter, Z, gate, and double parallel – along with an infinite number of custom folds. By incorporating folding into a single operation, this system removes the bottleneck of the finishing process and allows printers to custom fold a variety of applications such as greeting cards, folded "tent" business cards, brochures, and more.
 
Also on display will be the DC-445 Creaser, a simple creasing solution that can process up to 15 creases in a single pass up to 50 sheets per minute, as well as the CC-228 Card Cutter, another easy-to-use solution for cutting business cards, postcards, and greeting cards up to 130 business cards per minute. The CC-228 can process letter and legal-sized documents up to 350gsm.
