Announces the release of a brand new Application and several new MIS modules to help streamline, track and automate print and new media production
Chicago, IL - This year's Graph Expo theme is 'Embrace Technology' and Technique MIS (stand #441) has certainly taken this to the limit! New for Graph Expo, Technique is launching a new App and 4 new modules designed to further streamline, track and automate production for print and marketing services companies.
iTechnique Mobile MIS
iTechnique is a completely new mobile management information system (MIS) and executive reporting tool running on iPhone and iPad as a native App. Utilizing cloud technology all significant information can be made available securely to staff wherever they are, which promotes agile decision making and complete awareness throughout the company.
iTechnique is a fully fledged application with the ability to create and update information. Being a native application allows an amazing user interface experience together with the power of offline storage. "This is a generational change; we've come up with 2.0 for MIS. iTechnique provides a mobile window into a company, users can see the heartbeat of their business - it's addictive.", says Paul Cooper, CEO, Technique Group.
iTechnique empowers everyone in the company to be more efficient, using:
Additionally, the iTechnique app is completely social media aware including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. iTechnique is available as a part of the Technique MIS or as a key component of the new Commercial Suite.
iTechnique perfectly embodies the combination of the hugely popular iPad and iPhone with cutting edge software that empowers printers to do their job more effectively, providing better customer service and increasing profitability.
Additional major enhancements to Technique include:
Fulfillment (Inventory Management)
A strong fulfillment capability is increasingly required for the printer and direct mailer wanting to provide a full range of marketing services. The all new Fulfillment system from Technique provides a browser interface for your customers to view their inventory that you are managing, and then perform a full range of order and inventory transactions including ship, replenish, back order, pick list and kit creation. Customer websites can be branded thereby providing a familiar look and feel for your clients. The Fulfillment system is completely integrated with rest of Technique MIS including Order Management and Inventory.
Auto Scheduling (Production Scheduling) and Contract Forward Planning (Estimating)
For the last 15 years Technique has been a market leader with its easy to use, but powerful Production Scheduling system. This system is now further enhanced with the release a new major additional feature. The Auto Scheduling provides complex business logic to enable automatic forward or backwards scheduling of orders while still considering the impact that critical path and key events have. The Contract Forward Planning is a 'must' for the publication printer that has repeating orders. The forward planning lets contracted work be repeated at whatever interval the contract requires e.g. weekly, monthly. All material and scheduling requirements are calculated and loaded providing an unprecedented view of paper and labor forecasting.
CSR Checklist and Order Import (Order Management)
Many enhancements have been added to the Order Management module. Two of the more exciting include the CSR Checklist which allows custom integrated checklists to be created, by customer or product group. These interactive lists ensure that the same procedures are followed for each defined workflow, and that omissions in the workflows are eliminated. As orders get increasingly complex with ever more versions and longer shipping lists, the new order import reduces hours of order entry to mere seconds, and eliminates input errors entirely.
Direct Mail Market
Technique counts a number of the world's premier direct mailing companies as customers. We have worked closely with them over that last year to develop and release a whole range of enhancements to our direct mailing capabilities. These include improvements to both the estimating and order management to better meet the needs of the Direct Mail provider.
