EBSCO Media Introduces Online Digital Document Service

Press release from the issuing company

Birmingham, Ala. – Alabama's largest printer, EBSCO Media announced today the launch of Mozaic, an online digital publication service. In an effort to engage target audiences across a multitude of mediums and allow marketers to manage, analyze, and leverage reader demographics and reading behavior, Mozaic turns static PDF files into interactive, digital documents.

Mozaic provides a browser-based, online replica of original print versions and helps maximize audience potential through email sharing, embedded video, direct links, and social networking. The digital versions are available instantly, and include high-quality graphics as well as "page flipping" to simulate how a traditional printed publication is read. Additionally, Mozaic has advanced features that link with subscriber databases, email services, and lead generation services providing publishers and marketers a single-source solution for all of their needs.

"Mozaic is another example of how we are helping our customers effectively integrate print and digital media to improve their marketing ROI," said Landers Sevier, IV, EBSCO Media General Manager. "It is up to companies such as EBSCO Media to embrace the reality that today's print world encompasses more than just traditional print products.  We are proud to be at the forefront of this technology and are excited to offer our customers a way to take their marketing tools to the next level."

Not only does the reach of Mozaic digital editions enhance that of traditional print, this platform also provides marketers the opportunity to take advantage of various Advanced Reporting Options including:

  • Usage statistics for content items
  • Usage by advertiser / ad
  • Editorial page views vs. ad page views
  • Responses by advertiser
  • Click-throughs and zooms by content type
  • Effectiveness of ads by metadata - (ex. Ads that appear adjacent to editorial by a specific author)
