Finch Paper Appoints New Staff to U.S. Sales of Digital Uncoated Line
Press release from the issuing company
Glens Falls, NY -- September 2, 2008 -- Finch Paper, LLC announces the recent appointment of three experienced paper industry executives to represent the company's uncoated paper portfolio to digital printers, corporate buyers, designers, agencies, and merchants across the U.S. Kyle Prince serves in a dual role as both digital sales manager and central region market manager; while Paul Lukaszewski is digital market manager, east; and J.P. Thomas holds the position of digital market manager, west.
"Finch is fortunate to have a team of this caliber, representing one of our fastest growing product lines," says Anthony McDowell, vice president of sales and marketing at Finch Paper. "Kyle, Paul and J.P. are well known and respected in the industry, and accordingly have stepped up to the plate quickly to meet and support customer demand for our uncoated digital papers."
Prince, a 28-year veteran of the paper and printing industry with experience ranging from sheet-fed print production to product and sales management for some of the world's leading paper producers, joined Finch this spring. Prince reports to Mike Bean, national sales manager.
"I joined Finch Paper because the company has a rich history as well as a clear eye on the future. They were in the initial stages of an exciting initiative to rebrand the company with a very aggressive timeline, and I wanted to be a part of it. I feel that I can make a difference in contributing to Finch's future as the mill of choice for uncoated digital papers," says Prince.
Before joining Finch Paper, Prince spent 10 years with New Page Corporation (formerly Stora Enso North America). As office papers sales manager he worked with customers throughout the United States and Canada. As print on demand product manager he managed the digital papers product development initiative and managed relationships with office equipment manufacturers. Prince is a native Texan and a graduate of National Louis University.
Paul Lukaszewski joined Finch Paper as digital market manager for the eastern region of the U.S., and manages sales territory extending from Maine through Florida. Prior to joining Finch, Lukaszewski was a marketing manager for Stora Enso North America. Before that he held the position of advertising production manager at MeadWestvaco.
Says Lukaszewski, "I chose to join Finch because I believe the company is poised to deliver on its vision. It is my goal to help the company expand its presence and extend the benefits of its uncoated papers line-up to the full range of digital printers, corporate buyers, designers and merchants along the East Coast."
J.P. Thomas joined Finch Paper in May 2008 as digital marketing manager for the West Coast, with territory that includes Washington, Oregon, California and Arizona. He was previously merchant national accounts manager in the East for Stora Enso, and then moved to the West Coast as senior account manager in business development. Prior to that, he was with SD Warren as a publishing sales representative, and also enjoyed an 11 year tenure with Lindenmeyer, as an inside sales representative.
Says Thomas, "I am pleased to be working to grow sales of the Finch digital product portfolio. This is a true growth area in paper; within the next 10 to 12 years this area will represent 60 percent of all printed products on short to medium print runs. Finch has the right products for this application - an excellent portfolio that's both reasonably priced and environmentally friendly - and a service platform that's unmatched in our niche. I was a Finch customer for over ten years and my belief in the company and its service gives me the conviction and faith to promote Finch to others."
