drupa Report No. 2 Wins BCP Silver Award

Press release from the issuing company

The multiple-award winning drupa report has received a further recognition: it won the silver prize in the category "Print & Innovation" at the "Best Of Corporate Publishing" (BCP) competition. The combination of versioned digital and high-quality offset printing which is the trademark of the drupa report No. 2, convinced the high-caliber jury. "As the organizers of drupa we are of course especially pleased with this award since the drupa report impressively reflects the energy of a whole industry while representing its innovative strength," stated Manuel Mataré, Project Director of drupa 2012, print media trade fair (to be held from May 3 - 16, 2012 in Düsseldorf, Germany).

The awards of the Forum Corporate Publishing are presented by an expert jury every year. This year, 633 entries submitted in 32 categories excelled with higher quality, innovative design and cross-media content. German Economics Minister Philipp Rösler is the patron of this competition.

The drupa report distinguished itself in the category "Print & Innovation" from numerous competitors. The jury especially liked the current focal topic and its implementation: the integration of versioned digital printing and high-quality offset printing with a personalized cover and four inside pages. Each of the 41 editions features a different country-specific landmark on its cover, allowing drupa to highlight its global reach while demonstrating how offset and digital printing can complement each other. Holger Giffhorn/Giffhorn Design (Germany) is responsible for the design of this quality magazine. Overall, 13,000 issues were printed with circulations between 50 and 3,000 copies per country edition.
