Kehl, GERMANY – Dalim Software announces its annual North American Dalim Users Organization (DUO) meeting, which will be held March 14-16 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in New Orleans. The meeting, a forum for Dalim Software customers to share experiences with popular DALiM TWiST and DALiM MiSTRAL software as well as other workflow solutions, will this year feature a preview of what Dalim Software will demonstrate at DRUPA 2004. To provide an open exchange of ideas, the meeting will also schedule presentations by industry experts Ira Gold and Don Hutcheson, as well as from notable vendors in the graphic arts industry. Highlights of the event will be presentations by two well-known industry figures. Don Hutcheson, founder of Hutcheson Consulting and color management teacher at GATF (Graphic Arts technical Foundation) will provide a brief overview of the basics of color management, including current usage trends and workflows. Hutcheson Consulting offers a full range of color management services to high-end color separators, printers and related industries. Ira Gold will impart his perspective of trends in the graphic arts business, and some insight about what to expect at DRUPA. Mr. Gold is founder of Gold Associates Inc., a consulting firm specializing in digital imaging, color, workflow automation, prepress and marketing solutions, and monthly contributor to Electronic Publishing magazine. Presentations from leading vendors are also likely to be scheduled. DUO meetings always offer a comfortable learning environment conducive to an open dialog between Dalim Software and all users.
