Huntington Beach, California -- Rick Parks is the new Western Region General Manager of Sheetfed Operations for MAN Roland Inc. He is responsible for sales, service and support in a territory that encompasses 11 western states. For the past three years, Parks has served as the company’s Service Director in the west, focusing on sheetfed customers. Prior to that, he was National Service Director, based in MAN Roland Inc.’s Chicagoland headquarters. In his new position, Parks reports to Eric Belcher, COO of Sheetfed Operations. "Rick has built his career through his ability to identify with our clients, and to help them to become more profitable," Belcher said in announcing Parks’ promotion. "Such talents will serve him well in a region that’s brimming with opportunities for our clients and for us." Parks’ parents worked for the forerunner to MAN Roland in Chicago when he was growing up. He joined that company himself in 1983 as an apprentice machinist. From 1985 to 1990, he worked in sales, service and installation for Bernard Litho Repair, responsible for top-level corporate accounts. Parks joined MAN Roland’s Atlanta operation in May 1990, and progressively worked his way up from service technician, to lead installer, to master technician, to inspector.
