Press release from the issuing company
LANGHORNE, PENNSYLVANIA, – Hybrid Software Inc., formerly known as Hybrid Integration LLC, a leading developer of Order Lifecycle Management (OLM) software for the commercial printing, labels & packaging, and wide format markets, today announced the start of its global expansion program. Hybrid's European subsidiary, Hybrid Software NV, is headquartered in Kortrijk, Belgium and is responsible for sales and support of Hybrid's products in Europe and Latin America. Jan Ruysschaert, a 30-year veteran of the printing industry, will be Managing Director of the European subsidiary.
Guido Van der Schueren, Chairman of the Board of Hybrid Software, stated, "After taking a close look at Hybrid Software's product portfolio, we came to the conclusion that the products that Hybrid has sold successfully in North America are equally relevant in Europe and the rest of the world. The integration and automation they provide is needed universally. Opening our first office in Belgium is a natural step for the company, and we anticipate further expansion in the German market soon."
Hybrid Software provides software solutions for Order Lifecycle Management (OLM) in the graphic arts industry. Over the years, the nature of orders for all types of printing has changed drastically. In addition to traditional quotations and print bidding, graphic arts companies now receive orders from numerous web-to-print portals, online search engines, computerized EDI procurement systems, and many other sources. In combination with the trends toward fast turnaround times and shorter run lengths, order management has become a critical problem for printers in every segment. Hybrid's products address the entire production workflow, from online ordering to delivery, and can interface with most leading MIS systems, databases, and production systems.
Mike Rottenborn, President and CEO of Hybrid Software, Inc., stated, "The commercial success of web-to-print has created many different options for print buyers, but it has added a lot of complexity for printers as they try to integrate new web portals with their existing MIS and workflow systems. Order Lifecycle Management (OLM) is critical to streamline the production process, and Hybrid's software products perform that function by linking directly to the systems that printers already own."
With over 150 customers, Hybrid Software's solutions are integrating and automating multi-vendor print software systems-from customer-facing web portals to ticketing to plating-in a wide range of applications including packaging and labels, wide format printing, and commercial and digital printing. Hybrid's customers range from small family-owned print shops to multinational titans with multiple locations.
