Shawmut Executive Featured In June Issue Of Print Professional

Press release from the issuing company

Danvers, Ma. – Shawmut is proud to announce that company Vice President Stacy Peluso-Slaney was one of three women chosen to be featured in the June 2011 issue of Print Professional. The article entitled, "The Missing Piece," focuses on how women are a perfect fit for the print industry.

Peluso-Slaney is part of the third generation of Pelusos to have worked at Shawmut since the company opened in 1951. While today Peluso-Slaney is responsible for developing new clientele and supporting the sales department through marketing initiatives, she initially joined Shawmut in 1993 as an account executive and at the time was the only female in the department.

"It's a great honor to have been selected to represent women in the printing industry," said Stacy Peluso-Slaney, Shawmut Vice President. "While I realize that some women may have been faced with adversity as they climbed the corporate ladder, I was happy to share with Print Professional my fortunate experience of always being surrounded by incredible men throughout my career. The relationships I've built and opportunities I was given based on my hard work and dedication allowed me to positively reflect on my past 18 years in the business."
