ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 7- The quality of KODAK VERSAMARK Printing Systems was underlined at this year's 2011 Newspaper Awards (May 24, London Hilton) when Miller Newsprint Ltd's production of The Sunday Times won the title of best "Digitally Printed Newspaper of the Year".

The Times printed by the Maltese KODAK VERSAMARK VL4200 Printing System customer was also commended while its production of The Sun was nominated in the Kodak sponsored category.

Award Winning Technology Boosted Sales

Following investment in the KODAK VERSAMARK System, Miller Newsprint Ltd now prints on site all of the 60 international titles it distributes. This has resulted in a 20% rise in newspaper sales, attracting more consumers thanks to competitive pricing and same-day availability.

The move was so successful that sister company Hellenic Miller Newsprint followed suit a few months later and diversified into printing 25 of the titles it distributes.
