Press release from the issuing company
The American Technology Print Center (APTC) and Zwang & Co. have been commissioned to assist On Demand Russia in bringing North American manufacturers of publishing and production hardware and software to the 2011 Conference & Exposition, being held in Moscow September 7 - 12, 2011; in conjunction with the 24th Moscow International Book Fair.
Highly competitive exhibitor costs
On Demand Russia is the first Russian event focused on print-on-demand technologies, including digital printing equipment, digital workflow and wide format printing, in the Russian market. This year the show has added publishing technologies to support increased requirements for multi channel production.
Because the demand for Western solutions is so strong, show management has designed On Demand Russia's exposition pricing to favor international exhibitors already sensitive to shipping, display, and travel expenses. Bottom line exhibition costs are therefore among the lowest in the industry, in 2011 (http://atpc.biz/en/on-demand/on-demand-russia-2011/exhibition/).
Growing numbers of visitors mirror anticipated recovery in the region
The Moscow International Book Fair's 300,000 attendees are increasingly drawn to On Demand Russia, which itself has pulled close to 4000 visitors per year since its inception in 2008.
Leonid Shakhmundes, President of the ATPC, says there is growing evidence that the level of On Demand Russia 2011 participation will reflect the initial stirrings of anticipated Q3 recovery in the region. "Russia's work to return to a system of global competition in geopolitics, technology and economy are paying off," he says."There's an overall, very positive mood among Russian business professionals, as the increasingly transparent economic infrastructure is much more encouraging for several sectors, including graphic arts and communications."
North American Suppliers will have Confirmed Meetings with Russian Distributors
Distributors serving the printing, publishing, advertising agency, financial services, mailing and fulfillment, government/military, education, health care/medical, and transportation/logistics sectors are ready to meet hardware and software manufacturers in meetings set up by APTC and Zwang & Co.
"The Russian graphic arts sector has needs that span the most manual, analog-based print production environments through to tremendously advanced multi-channel applications. To say that they want the technology the West has to offer is a dramatic understatement," says David Zwang. "On Demand Russia is where the East and West can meet to take advantage of an economic environment newly conducive to better trade conditions.
"Those who join us will have a leg-up on a trend that is already paralleling the conditions we saw in China a decade ago - and which led to that nation's now powerful, international position in the print sector," Zwang observes. "This is where the action is going to be, next."
