Press release from the issuing company
NEW YORK, NY, – Anthem Worldwide, the strategic design division of Schawk, whose integrated global network provides innovative solutions to articulate, unify and manage brand impact to create compelling and consistent brand experiences, announced that its New York office has been distinguished with three packaging design awards recognizing the value of design to business and society.
The 2011 American Package Design Awards is the fastest growing national competition managed by Graphic Design USA'S (GDUSA). The reason is simple yet profound -- marketers are challenged as never before to convey their messages and promote their brands in an era of fragmented audiences, global competition and tight budgets.
According to GDUSA, "Package design and related disciplines are increasingly the difference makers. The 2011 American Package Design Awards competition, sponsored by Neenah Paper, celebrates attractive graphics and the power of design to advance the brand and forge an emotional link with the buyer at the moment of truth."
In the Health & Beauty category, Anthem Worldwide was awarded for its work on:
Chapstick Fresh Effects, Brand Owner: Pfizer Consumer Healthcare
Certificate of Excellence
Revlon Colorburst Lipstick, Brand Owner: Revlon Certificate of Excellence
In the Food & Beverage category, Anthem Worldwide was awarded for its work on:
Cucina di Carla Fresh & Fast, Brand Owner: Carla's Pasta, Inc.

Janice Jaworski, managing director of Anthem Worldwide's New York office, said, "The significance of having our work receive this mark of distinction is terrific.
