Suttle-Straus, Inc. of Waunakee has named Ted Straus as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In this position he is responsible for the overall operations of the organization and enhancing the company's culture of continuous improvement.

Ted has been with the company since 1993 and has worked in a number of increasingly important positions from pre-media supervision through departmental management, and as Director of technology and operations. He is the fourth generation of the Straus family to hold a leadership role in the organization, which was founded in 1920 as Straus Printing Company.

Ted graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1993 with a BS degree in Printing Management. He is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA program at UW-Madison.

In connection with his promotion to Executive Vice President, Ted is also being provided with the opportunity to acquire an equity position in the company.
