American Wrap Star Winner Takes Home Mutoh ValueJet 1614

Las Vegas, NV. - Gold sponsors, Mutoh America and Fellers, provided a ValueJet 1614 printer as the grand prize for the American Wrap Star contest at the International Sign Expo. The expo was held in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center from April 28th through 30th .

Mingo Richter, from Blackbox-Richter, was named winner of the American Wrap Star contest. Richter was one of 30 competitors.

Competitors took turns wrapping Corvettes throughout the three day show. Judging of the competition was based on the quality of the wrap and speed.

Runner-ups took home other printing and laminating prizes:

  • 2nd place: Tyler Cook from Vechiclewraps.ca
  • 3rd place: Chris Brown from The Decal Source
  • 4th place: Aaron Gillett from Vehiclewraps.ca

The Mutoh ValueJet 1614-64" is the "Wrapper's Choice" for speed, size and quality. Mutoh recently announced the launchof the new ValueJet 1624-64" eco-solvent printer. The new printer maintains the same great qualities of the previous 1614 model, but contains a new print head and produces print speeds up to 313 square feet per hour.
