OCWA Implements Docucorp's Bill Print ASP Solution
Press release from the issuing company
DALLAS--Jan. 20, 2004-- Docucorp International, a leading provider of enterprise information solutions, announced today that New York-based Onondaga County Water Authority (OCWA) has implemented Docucorp's outsourced print and online bill production solution for the utility's 85,000 customers.
"While we sought a solution that would enable us to enhance and personalize our bills, we also needed to ensure that it could integrate with our recently upgraded Indus Banner Advantage CIS system," said Michael E. Hooker, executive director, OCWA. "After evaluating both licensing and Application Service Provider (ASP) options, we determined that outsourcing was the most cost-effective solution for us given our requirements."
"With our solution, OCWA transformed their postcard-size bill to a personalized, letter-size bill that includes charts of customers' quarterly usage history," said William D. Barry, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Docucorp International. "OCWA also has access to our online ASP portal, which enables them to follow the status of their print jobs, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, preview their documents before they are printed, and view their inventory for better management of supplies."
Docucorp's ASP centers provide a fully outsourced solution for the processing, presentment and delivery of enterprise-wide information, both electronically and printed.
