Xaar printheads in action

Uptake of Xaar's latest printhead, the Xaar Proton (35 and 60 picoliter versions) is growing across Latin America with new or recently-launched printers utilizing this printhead on show at Digital Image. For example, TS2 (Stand E18) will be exhibiting its new Tracer Guepard. With its set of eight Xaar Proton 35 printheads, it offers high productivity with a maximum speed of 90 m2/hr and resolution of 720 dpi. It also has four heating systems managed by a control panel, while two sets of fans and a triple filtration system ensures ink stability and lengthens the lifetime of the printheads.

Also, at Stand F06 Ampla will be displaying its family of Targa solvent printers utilizing Xaar printheads.  Other examples of digital inkjet printers using Xaar printheads are expected to be present during Digital Image.

"Xaar technology, and particularly our latest Proton printhead, lies within the industry's most innovative, productive digital inkjet printers," says Lonza. "Xaar will continue to stay at the forefront of printhead development. One of the ways that we do this is by listening to our customers needs and also by investing heavily in R&D. The Xaar Proton, a highly successful printhead utilizing the latest Xaar technologies, was designed as a result of customer feedback. We hope to welcome many people to our seminars and look forward to their feedback to help us shape the future of inkjet."
