Barcelona - Graphispag 2011, the International Print Media Exhibition to be held in Barcelona March 22 – 26, was chosen by MDP to announce the formalization of the distribution agreement for the versatile, multi-application IMPIKA iEngine 1000 in the Spanish market.

Launched at Ipex 2010, the iEngine 1000 has found acceptance with several major printers in Europe and the United States. Compact, easy to use and to integrate, the iEngine 1000 owes also its success to an optimized combination of "quality and speed of output" at a very competitive document production cost. The flexibility of the iEngine 1000 allows printers to configure it for a wide range of applications, monochrome and color, such as overprinting, variable data output, bar codes, numbering, envelope personalization, graphic arts...

Commenting on the choice of the iEngine 1000 for the Spanish trade, Jordi Grau, MDP Managing Director noted, "by selecting IMPIKA as a partner to introduce digital printing products into our portfolio, we opted for a dynamic partner and a leader in inkjet technology. The IMPIKA line opens up numerous opportunities for development, for our customers."

The partnership between the two companies will allow visitors to Graphispag 2011 to view the iEngine 1000 in operation on the MDP stand (D752) for different document customization features.
