Harry Vinson named General Manager of MAN Roland Central Region
Press release from the issuing company
Westmont, Illinois — MAN Roland has appointed Harry Vinson, a 20-year veteran of the graphic arts, as the new General Manager of its Central Region, reporting to Eric Belcher, COO of Sheetfed Operations. Vinson is responsible for all sheetfed press sales, project management, service, parts and other support functions throughout the Midwest.
The executive comes to MAN Roland from the Moore Wallace Corporation, where he headed that company’s Publication and Directory Group. His responsibilities there included overseeing three production facilities as well as directing the unit’s sales organization.
Vinson also served for 12 years with Quebecor World in a number of top-level positions. Starting as a sales representative at the company’s Reston, Virginia facility, he progressed to become Vice President of Sales and later a Regional Manager.
The holder of a Bachelor of Science degree in Printing Management from Murray State University, Vinson began his graphic arts career with Agfa back in 1983. Before joining Quebecor World, he advanced his sales and marketing career at Nashville Electragraphics Company in Tennessee and at Graphic Arts Service, Inc. in New York City.
Last April, Vinson was named as an Advisory Board member for Murray State University’s Graphic Communications School.
”Harry knows the daily challenges that printers face, and how a successful printer turns these challenges into opportunities,” Belcher said. “Having Harry as a key member of our management team will allow MAN Roland to support our customers even better going forward.”
