Braintree, MA - Braintree Printing, a full-service commercial and quick printing company based in Braintree, MA, is hosting an open house for printing and graphic communication professionals from 4 to 7 pm, March 31st at the company's 230 Wood Road plant.  People interested in networking with colleagues and learning about innovative printing techniques and technology are urged to attend.
 
"We'll showcase new equipment and gather folks from the printing and graphics trades together for a casual night of socializing," said Braintree Printing owner Jim Corliss.
 
"This is a great chance for friends in the trade -- print buyers, paper merchants, equipment dealers, printing employees, graphic communication professionals -- to get together and talk shop," he said.
 
Though the printing industry has experienced turbulent times recently, Braintree Printing sees much to celebrate. "There's interesting stuff going on here at Braintree Printing and throughout our industry," Corliss said.
 
Braintree Printing demonstrated the collaboration that takes place every day within the printing industry by highlighting the resources it used to create the open house invitation, directly on the mailer.  The two-panel "save the date" brochure was printed on Sappi Flo cover stock using the Xerox iGen4 printer and then coated on a Fergesen Systems UV roller coater. The brochure was customized and mailed to printing professionals with variable data using XMPIE.
