Denver, CO – Quark is a proud sponsor of the upcoming Intelligent Content 2011 conference taking place in Palm Springs, CA on February 16 – 18. Now in its third year, the conference is an annual meeting of thought leaders and practitioners dedicated to improving the findability, usability, adaptability and delivery of content to a wide variety of users, when, where and how they need it.
At the conference, Mark Lewis, Quark’s DITA product manager for usability, will present a workshop called “Measuring the ROI in DITA” which will take attendees on a tour of a topic-based cost model that proves the savings possible with DITA and content reuse. Workshop participants will take away custom spreadsheets that can be used to prove the value of moving content to DITA.

Quark will also take part in the conference’s “X-Fest,” a technology showcase featuring four dynamic sessions that will introduce and demonstrate some of the latest tools and techniques for making content, and content processes, intelligent. During X-Fest, PG Bartlett, senior vice president of product management, and Akshay Mahajan, Quark product manager, will present “One Source to Print and Digital: Web, iPad, Tablets, Smartphones, RSS…” In this session, PG and Akshay will demonstrate how enterprise publishers can deliver dynamic publishing across an organization, reduce publishing costs, and enable knowledge workers to publish across print, Web, and digital devices.
