Central Web, one of western Canada's leading independent providers of heatset and coldset web printing, will be installing four Tensor T-1400 single width towers this quarter in Calgary, Alberta.

The new towers will be combined with existing folder equipment, with final pressline configuration to be determined. The T-1400 units are rated at 35,000 iph, with a 35" web width and 22.75" cutoff. The towers will be shaft-driven and equipped with motorized sidelay and register adjustments and stainless steel clad cylinders. Tensor's unique "bearing-in-a-bearing" eccentric design on the blanket cylinder reduces cylinder bounce and side frame wear, providing long equipment service life and improved print quality.

The towers may be used within a coldset or heatset configuration.
