Press release from the issuing company
HB Print in Cheb has opted for a four-color ROLAND 500. This perfecting press will be mainly used for commercial printing for hair care products, as well as publications.
HB Print in Cheb, Czech Republic, has ordered a four-color ROLAND 500 2/2 perfector in format 0B. The printing company was founded in 1990 and is best known for printing package inserts for hair color products of international brands, amounting to around 185 million inserts per year. However, the volume of publications printing – magazines and books – is also considerable. HB Print's slogan is "When the idea becomes reality". What contribution shall the ROLAND make to this? Managing Director Petr Prucha: "The ROLAND 500 will enable us to produce our commercial printing in outstanding quality on both sides of the sheet and this is absolutely essential in the cosmetics sector." With the ROLAND InlinePerfector's double-diameter sheet turning system and OptiPrint jackets, print quality is identical on both sides of the sheet. In addition, the high level of automation drastically shortens makeready times and reduces manpower requirements.
The most important automation features include automatic format setting, automatic washing systems, automatic air setting, the highly-automated PPL (PowerPlateLoading) plate changing system, and ColorPilot – the fast color control system. The high speed of the ROLAND 500, 15,000 sheets per hour in perfecting mode, creates additional capacity for more jobs. With a substrate thickness range from 0.04 to 0.6 millimeters, the ROLAND 500 is ideal for publications printing and provides genuine Value Added Printing.
The growth strategy of HB Print also includes added value for its customers. On the one hand through the wide portfolio of services – besides printing, the company offers creative graphic solutions, DTP, CTP, and bookbinding. On the other hand, this printing company banks on premium quality. HB Print is certified in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 quality standard and the DIN EN ISO 14001:2004 environment management system.
