Fairfax, Virginia - SGIA invites member companies to participate in the 2011 Sustainability Recognition Program. Those who have started their sustainable journey under SGIA's 4-Step Sustainability Action Plan should apply for the award by February 15, 2011.

"SGIA encourages the specialty imaging community to adopt sustainable practices in their imaging business, and this program acknowledges those member companies that have made significant progress in the shift toward a sustainable work environment," said Marci Kinter, SGIA's vice president of government and business information.

All applicants for the program are eligible to win the 2011 Sustainability Recognition Award, which is determined based on the submission of the facility's sustainability policy and program information. All awards will be issued during the first quarter of the year.

SGIA members may submit applications now through February 15, 2011.
