Press release from the issuing company

Washington - The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) has made available Deep Water: The Gulf Oil Disaster And The Future Of Offshore Drilling (BP Oil Spill Commission Report) at its bookstore in Washington, D.C. on January 11, 2011 at 12 p.m. Employees in GPO's Plant produced the report for the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling.

The Commission's report contains the fullest account available of what happened when the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig sank and spilled nearly five million barrels of crude oil into the Gulf of Mexico. The report is a result of President Barack Obama's appointment of a Commission to investigate the disaster, analyze its causes and effects and recommend the actions necessary to minimize such risks in the future.

The report will also be available online at noon on January 11, 2011 through GPO's Federal Digital System (FDsys) at http://www.fdsys.gov.
