Press release from the issuing company

Kennesaw, GA – September 28, 2003. Esko-Graphics announces the appointment of Mark Vanover as Director of Marketing, North America. In his new position, Mark will oversee North American marketing activities and business development, building Esko-Graphics’ presence and product brands in both commercial and package printing markets, and developing new marketing partnerships with complementary vendors. Mark’s career in the graphic arts spans more than 25 years. Since 1993, Mr. Vanover has held product and marketing management roles of increasing seniority at Scitex America and then at Creo America. His most recent assignment, as marketing director of packaging, included responsibility for the direction of brand marketing efforts related to advertising, public relations and trade show activities. These included demand creation marketing activities such as telemarketing and direct mail campaigns, along with customer focused educational seminars. Prior to his last assignment he was marketing director, advanced solutions, for the commercial print markets. In this role he was also the team lead for product marketing managers. Mark is an accomplished public speaker who had represented Creo at numerous industry events and trade associations. Mr. Vanover has also held marketing and sales posts at Stork Coloproofing, Polaroid Graphics Imaging, Eastern Rainbow, and E. I. DuPont. “We are fortunate to have someone of Mark Vanover’s depth and breadth of graphic arts experience – in commercial as well as package printing – on board to lead our marketing efforts in North America,” says Simon James, Esko-Graphics North American general manager. “Mark understands how our products fit in our markets, and has perceptive ideas how to expand our activity. We expect Mark will become an important point person for Esko-Graphics; both as a company resource and an industry figure.”
