The survey, open now through January 31, asks imaging companies in the US and Canada about sales compensation, annual sales revenue and the average compensation for many new industry positions. Once the results are in, all survey participants will receive a free copy of the complete report.
The 2009 Wage and Salary found that most shops in the US and Canada reported payroll to be 30 percent or less of their gross sales. Additionally, shops with less than 10 percent or greater than 50 percent of payroll-to-sales ratios tended to be smaller companies, selling only $250,000 in products per year. The 2009 survey also reported that the average hourly wage in the US increased by $0.20 from 2007, and increased in Canada by slightly less than $1.
