Quebec, Canada – Dynagram, the industry leader in imposition solutions, announces the release of an update to its inpO2 (in-poe-two) imposition software for Adobe Acrobat with support for the new Enfocus Switch inpO2 configurator now shipping with Switch 09, Update 2.
 
Available immediately, the inpO2 3.6.3 update adds the support for the inpO2 configurator which dynamically sets the imposition and output settings when submitting a job to the inpO2 Automation application.
 
Switch is Enfocus' automation solution for daily repetitive tasks. Configurators are provided with FullSwitch and PowerSwitch, and enable the integration, automation and control of third party applications. With the inpO2 support, customers of Enfocus Switch will be able to have Switch workflows determine the imposition requirements for a job on-the-fly through the selection of inpO2 Automation profiles and inpO2 output profiles in the configurator.
 
Within each inpO2 Automation profile used by the configurator, customers can control all aspects of how the job is imposed for offset or digital printing needs.  This includes support for bound work, N-up, standard step and repeat, custom step and repeat, and cut and stack layouts. Page sizes can be dynamic based on the source file or fixed for layouts that require consistency for finishing such as high-volume business card production.

Enfocus Switch combined with inpO2 Automation is the perfect combination for offset and digital printing customers who have a need to automate their print production.  Switch provides a powerful environment for routing, sorting and processing PDF files for print. With proper PDF file handling tied to the flexibility of inpO2 Automation page imposition, just about any production needs can be met with an easy to use and cost effective workflow combination.  This includes simple workflows for typical offset work such as brochure or booklet plate production, to complex high volume web to print workflows with multiple customer selected options such as paper stock, quantities or color choices. In addition layouts can be generated with special marks to support most automated finishing equipment, such as automatic die-cutters for business cards.
