Press release from the issuing company
Los Angeles - Avery Dennison hired Hill & Knowlton to serve as its global corporate agency of record following a competitive search. The account will be based in the Los Angeles office with support from New York; Washington, DC; Hong Kong; Beijing and Brussels.
"We've successfully worked with H&K on a range of projects and what we've found is a team that understands our culture and has a passion and enthusiasm for helping us articulate the company's innovation and sustainability stories,'' said Diane B. Dixon, senior vice president, communications and corporate affairs, and chief communications officer, Avery Dennison.
H&K differentiates itself in so many ways, and its team really impressed us with their creative thinking. We really appreciate its strength office-to-office on corporate, sustainability and public affairs, which adds to our bench in communicating the company's strength and our responsible growth ambitions,'' said Dixon.
"Avery Dennison is in the business of innovation, with a long heritage of ingenuity that has always been the cornerstone of its brand," said Paul Taaffe, chairman and CEO, Hill & Knowlton. "It has a strong story to tell. We look forward to showcasing its innovative technologies, rich history, many successes and the lives it touches on a global scale through its myriad of product offerings."
Some of the communications work planned includes aligning the company's divisions as part of "One Avery Dennison,'' development of a reputation management program, articulating the company's sustainability story, and building awareness for its ongoing innovations in brand-enhancing packaging materials, high performance adhesives and information solutions for a range of industries.
