Gröbenzell, Germany – On November 18th, PrintCity members Cofely, Eltosch, manroland, M-real, Sappi, Sun Chemical, UPM and Weilburger Graphics delivered a highly successful first seminar in Warsaw, Poland.
 
Called Benefits and Technologies for Value Added Printing, the seminar was targeted at Polish Sheetfed Printing & Packaging industry specialists, with moderation by Jacek Hamerli?ski of COBRPP - Research & Development Centre for the Graphic Arts.
 
Highlights of the Seminar
 
The new PrintCity Value Added Packaging (VAPack) project was presented for the first time in Europe. VAPack explores the possibilities for value added packaging, using a range of special new ‘sample boxes’ and tutorials which showcase innovative VAP materials & techniques. These allow brand owners, designers and packagers to get new ideas about differentiation and business growth opportunities, to expand their brands and add real value.
 
Audience reaction was very positive with the following feedback given by attendees:
