Some of the items presented and discussed will be, manroland announces the new family addition to the 41 inch line of printing presses the ROLAND 700 HiPrint HS press with 18,000 s.p.h. capability. Joining with the world record holder for quick job changeover the ROLAND 700 DIRECTDRIVE press, and the ROLAND 700 HiPrint, the standard in 41 inch printing.
And, with manroland it’s now your option to ‘futureproof’ your investments with guaranteed upgrades for up to five years after purchase.
And, upgrading your business with inline foiler PRINDOR, manroland’s patented solution for inline cold foiling, now with indexing which saves even more on foil costs.
Also, autoprint smart, the latest in the autoprint line adds automation technology to leap the Sheetfed printer into industrial scale printing.
manroland is sponsoring the keynote address, titled “Where is the Industry Headed”, to be delivered by Frank Romano. Frank is one of the most respected and informed individuals in the print industry today. Frank is Professor Emeritus, School of Print Media, Rochester Institute of Technology, and provides an insight into the print industry today.
At Print World 2010 manroland is partnering with B&R Moll, and representing products from MBO and Tensor Group.
On display will be a MBO T535E/4 buckle folding machine and also, on booth #1026 B&R Moll is demonstrating a Marathon Folder/Gluer, the highly versatile ability to produce a variety of layouts. The Sprint Capacity unit is modular and can be rolled in behind either a current Moll Regal or Marathon System, as well as act as a stand-alone system fed with just a pile feeder. We will be folding and gluing a double pocket folder with a 1/4" capacity. The box pocket presentation folder can run 1800-3000 an hour. The Moll Sprint is the most profitable unit in the industry today, capable of folding capacities starting at 1/8" up to 3/4".
The MBO T535E/4 buckle folding machine with its advanced automation and well-proven MBO components included comes as an economically efficient, modular, and technologically advanced package. Optional equipment available for edge trim, punch, perforation, multiple perforation, crimplock, gatefold, sheet return device (Perfection folders), glue fold as well as various delivery systems, options and accessories.
manroland now represents Tensor Group in Canada and Short-run printing, the focus of Print World, fits well with Tensor’s web press offerings, the T-400BE and T-460 towers for short-run book, catalog, directory, magazine and insert work and especially the economical, yet highly dependable T-1400 model for small newspaper and insert production.
